ahh, to settle down with a big red bowl of plain yoghurt and banana stolen from ross, earlgrey (the water sizzled when i added sugar!?), and some gritty poli sci reading that i can just feel turning me into a radical (grrr)...i am once again single! but with a new friend and it doesn't feel so bad--in fact i think with ross i'd rather have a longterm friend and i think without the physical part our relationship is more apt to take that direction--in any case, it feels good to settle into some work, but i wish i had time to read all of the poli sci i haven't done in the last six weeks before i wrote these essays, but what can you do (well, there are answers to that question that hopefully will be taken up in this latter half of the semester).
had dinner with ross last night and it actually was really nice although he told me he didn't think it was a good idea to continue what we'd been doing. watched some bjork videos and this crazy 'avalanche' video 'frontier psychiatrist'--ross played the song and i remembered it from an mtv video i must have seen over the summer--chorus of ghosts and swissmountainmen french horn players.
talked to tika---she's going to go swimming in a sinkhole! the things floridians get to do that we californians would never dream of...
