twyla tharp is giving a masterclass here tomorrow. "a fugue workshop." by invitation only. hoitytoity. i think anyone can watch though. it should be interesting to see her work in person.
i'm moving out tonight, after the 'la maison' performance. who's at the new house? sarah, from scripps, doing neuropsych research at duke (which reminds me i've got to write to laurie). incidentally, there's a girl in my voice and gesture class who i'm just getting to know who'll be a junior at pomona. i think i'm going to work with her on some pieces to old reagan presidential speeches. should be interesting. dancing to cold war propaganda. i remember when i did academic decathlon in high school the history section was on the 80s, and there was this reagan commercial with a big lumbering bear with the red ussr star on it. i can't remember if it got shot or put in a cage or just roared and reminded everyone of the russian threat. probably the latter.
also, a guy studying physical therapy. and two more guys i didn't meet.
to nap now. or massage myself with little green balls. everyone should get these things. i would have bought a couple more pairs but i had to leave, and it looked like they would sell out anyways.
